How we rank providers

Every provider gets an editorial score from 0 to 100, built from five weighted signals: review quality (30%), experience (20%), credentials (20%), portfolio and case studies (15%) and responsiveness (15%). Rankings are recalculated every quarter. No provider can pay to change its score or rank.

WeightSignalHow we measure it
30%Review qualityGoogle rating Γ— log(review count), blended with Clutch, G2 or Trustpilot ratings where they exist, plus our own verified client calls. Ratings are scaled so that 500 or more reviews earn full weight for volume.
20%ExperienceYears operating (full marks at 20 years), team size and depth of portfolio.
20%CredentialsValid licence on the relevant register (MIA, LHDN s.153, SSM, BNM, SC, MOH, MOE, SEDA, LAM, BEM, CIDB, JTKSM, KDN), certifications, awards, partner tiers (AWS, Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, Meta) and HRD Corp registration. Tech & digital firms are scored on named certifications: ISO 27001 (3 points), ISO 9001 (2), ISO 20000-1 (2), CMMI ML3/ML4 (4) or ML5 (5), SOC 2 (2), PCI DSS (1), Malaysia Digital (MD) / MSC status (3), partner tiers (up to 3) and awards (up to 2).
15%Portfolio & case studiesPublic, checkable work: named clients and case studies we can open, and independent evidence links. For tech & digital firms each named public client counts (up to 6), plus published case studies (up to 3) and evidence links (up to 6).
15%ResponsivenessA mystery-shopper quote request, scored on time to first response and on the quality of the response. Until a provider has been mystery-shopped, it gets the neutral midpoint (7.5/15).
